God, I confess that gratitude comes easily when life is easy, but right now life isn't easy. I'm facing scarcity - not enough money, not enough energy, not enough answers, not enough of what I desperately need. Complaining feels more natural than thanksgiving.

But you've been faithful before, and you're faithful now. Even in what I lack, I can find traces of your provision. Help me practice gratitude not as denial of pain but as declaration of your presence. When I focus on what's missing, redirect my eyes to what remains. You are present, you are good, and you are enough - even when nothing else feels like enough. Today I choose thanks over complaints, trust over despair. You've never failed me, and you won't start now.
