Father, you're present in Sunday morning worship and Tuesday afternoon errands alike. You inhabit my most spiritual moments and my most mundane ones with equal fullness. Forgive me for treating ordinary life as time to get through until I can return to "real" spiritual activity.
Open my eyes to see you in the everyday - in commutes and conversations, meals and meetings, chores and choices. Help me practice your presence in the kitchen sink and the conference call, in bedtime routines and budget planning. Let me stop dividing life into sacred and secular, recognizing that all ground is holy when walked with you. Transform my understanding so that nothing feels too ordinary to be offered as worship. Every moment is an opportunity to know you better.
