Friday Prayer: June Draws to a Close
Father, June is almost over. This month I've walked through ordinary time - no major festivals, no dramatic events, just steady rhythm of daily faithfulness. I've learned that you work in mundane moments as powerfully as in spectacular ones, that ordinary time is where real character forms, that most of life happens in the middle rather than at peaks.
Thank you for June's lessons. Thank you for teaching me to accept limitations rather than fighting them. Thank you for showing me that community is essential, not optional. Thank you for revealing that balance is myth and different seasons require different priorities. Thank you for being present in ordinary moments when nothing extraordinary was happening.
As June ends and July begins, help me carry forward what this month taught. Help me stay faithful in small things, trust you in ordinary moments, and recognize that my worth doesn't depend on productivity. June is ending. Your faithfulness continues. That's enough for tomorrow.
