Monday Prayer: Learning to Wait
Lord, I'm tired of waiting. I've been praying for the same things for so long with no visible answers. I'm waiting for circumstances to change, relationships to heal, dreams to materialize, and nothing is happening. I feel stuck, frustrated, wondering if you're even listening.
Teach me to wait well. Help me see waiting not as wasted time but as where faith gets forged. Show me what you're teaching me through the delay, how you're preparing me for what I'm waiting for. Don't let me miss the person you're forming me into while I'm focused only on what I'm waiting to receive.
Renew my strength as I wait for you. Help me trust your timing when it doesn't match mine, believe your delays have purpose when they feel pointless, hope in your promises when fulfillment seems impossibly distant. I'm waiting. Teach me to wait with faith instead of frustration, with trust instead of bitterness, with hope instead of despair.
