Saturday Prayer: Beyond My Understanding

Father, I want to understand everything - why things happen, how you work, what you're doing. But I'm finite and you're infinite. My knowledge will always be incomplete, my understanding partial, my perspective limited. I'm trying to calculate infinite digits with finite capacity.

Teach me to trust what I can't fully comprehend. Help me rest in your complete knowledge when mine runs out. I don't need to understand all your ways to trust your character. I don't need to see the full picture to believe you're working good from everything.

Give me humility to accept mystery without demanding explanations. When I reach the limits of my understanding, help me remember that's where trust begins. You know all, see all, understand all perfectly. That's enough. I don't need infinite knowledge; I need infinite trust in the One who knows infinitely. Increase my trust where understanding fails.
