Sunday Prayer: March Begins
Father, I'm grateful for March after February's long winter. Thank you that seasons change, that darkness doesn't last forever, that you built hope into creation's rhythms. After months of cold and dormancy, I'm ready for spring - in nature and in my soul.
I didn't finish February strong. Lenten commitments already feel shaky. Resolutions made in January are distant memories. But you're faithful through every season, strong in my weakness, present in my wandering. Thank you for new mornings, fresh mercy, grace that doesn't depend on my performance.
As March begins, renew hope in me. Where my life feels frozen, bring thaw. Where faith has gone dormant, bring resurrection. Where winter has lasted too long, bring spring. I'm still walking toward Easter, still trusting you're working, still believing winter doesn't last forever. Lead me forward into whatever this month holds. I'm yours, and that's enough.
