Sunday Prayer: Month's End, Season's Beginning

Father, as November ends and Advent begins, I'm grateful for this month that's passing and hopeful for the season that's coming. Thank you for your faithfulness through ordinary days and difficult moments, for provision when resources were scarce, for presence when I felt alone, for strength when I felt weak.

As I enter this Advent season, prepare my heart to wait well, to hope actively, to anticipate joyfully. Don't let me rush past preparation in my hurry toward celebration. Teach me to treasure each season you give, to learn what each one offers, to grow through all of them. November taught me; December will teach me too. Through it all, you remain constant - faithful yesterday, present today, promised tomorrow. That's enough. That's everything. Thank you for meeting me here, at the intersection of months and seasons and your steadfast love.
