Sunday Prayer: Waiting Well
Father, you work on eternal timelines while I operate on earthly calendars, and the disconnect frustrates me. I want what I want when I want it, which is usually now. But you're teaching me that waiting is not wasting - it's working in ways I can't see. Help me wait well during this season
Father, you work on eternal timelines while I operate on earthly calendars, and the disconnect frustrates me. I want what I want when I want it, which is usually now. But you're teaching me that waiting is not wasting - it's working in ways I can't see.
Help me wait well during this season that feels too long. Give me patience to trust your timing without understanding it, faith to believe you're working when I can't see evidence. Teach me that delays are often divine preparation, that slowness isn't absence. When I'm tempted to rush ahead or give up in frustration, anchor me in your faithfulness. You've always been right on time, even when your "time" looked different than mine. I choose to trust your pace.
