Jesus, you washed your disciples' feet knowing one would betray you, one would deny you, all would abandon you. You served those who would fail you, loved those who would leave you, gave yourself for those who would run. You knew their failures before they happened but loved them anyway -

Having loved His own who were in the world, He loved them to the end. Not conditionally, not until they disappointed Him, not while they were performing well. To the end - through denial, betrayal, abandonment. My love doesn't stop when you fail. I love you to the end.
