Tuesday Prayer: Breaking Down Walls

Father, you crossed every barrier to reach me - infinite to finite, holy to sinful, Creator to creation. You didn't wait for me to understand; you made yourself understandable. You spoke my language, entered my world, communicated your love in ways I could finally receive.

Help me cross barriers to reach others. Give me patience when communication is hard, humility when I don't understand, perseverance when connection requires work. Don't let differences in background, language, perspective, or experience become walls I refuse to climb. You climbed the highest wall imaginable to reach me.

Tear down the walls I've built - walls of assumption, prejudice, impatience, pride. Show me who's trying to communicate with me that I'm dismissing or ignoring. Open my ears to really hear, my heart to genuinely care, my mouth to speak words that build bridges instead of barriers. You speak every language, understand every heart, cross every divide. Teach me to do the same.
