Father, another month closes and I see your fingerprints across every day. You were present in my highest highs and lowest lows, faithful in my doubts and certain in my questions. September brought lessons I didn't expect and growth I didn't always want, but through it all, you remained constant.
I started this month with plans you gently redirected. I faced challenges I wasn't ready for but you provided strength I didn't know I had. I celebrated victories that came from your hand and mourned losses you held with me. I grew in ways I can measure and ways I can't, but looking back I see your patient hand shaping me. Thank you for grace that covered my failures, mercy that met my needs, love that never wavered. Thank you for being exactly who you promised to be.
As October dawns tomorrow, I carry forward what September taught me—that you're trustworthy when nothing else is, that your timing is perfect even when it's not my preference, that growth often comes wrapped in what first looked like setback. Walk with me into whatever comes next. I don't know what the new month holds, but I know who holds it. Your faithfulness brought me through September, and it will carry me through October too. I rest in that tonight.
