Wednesday Prayer: Holy Wednesday

Jesus, Judas sold you today for slave-price while you were preparing to give everything for humanity's redemption. He valued you at thirty silver pieces while you demonstrated infinite worth through willing sacrifice. He watched for opportunity to betray while you prepared for faithfulness unto death.

I confess my own betrayals - moments I've valued temporary gain over eternal treasure, chosen comfort over costly obedience, drifted from devotion toward compromise. I haven't sold you for thirty pieces of silver, but I've traded you for much less: approval, security, pleasure, convenience.

Expose my small compromises before they become large betrayals. Show me where I'm drifting before I'm too far gone. Convict me of quiet unfaithfulness before it becomes public denial. Keep me close to you, especially in silent moments when nobody's watching except you.
