Wednesday Prayer: Trusting Invisible Work

Lord, I want visible progress - transformation I can measure, growth I can display, change that's obvious to everyone watching. But you work differently. You transform like yeast in dough - invisible work producing visible results in time I can't control.

Help me trust the process I can't observe. When I can't see myself growing, help me believe you're still working. When progress feels invisible, help me remember that your kingdom grows in ways that can't be measured. When I'm discouraged by lack of dramatic change, help me notice the small shifts that reveal deep work.

Teach me to value invisible obedience over visible achievement. Let me be faithful in places no one sees, trusting that what's done in secret will be rewarded openly. You see the work I can't observe. You're completing what you started in me, even when I can't track the progress. Help me trust you when all I can see is wasting away, knowing inwardly you're renewing me day by day.
