Father, thank you for Luke - the physician who became evangelist, the Gentile who documented Jesus' life, the loyal companion who stayed when others left. He never met Jesus personally but devoted his life to researching and recording Jesus' story so people like me could know him two thousand years later.

Help me value faithful presence over spectacular service. Luke didn't plant churches or preach to thousands. His contribution was quieter - careful research, accurate writing, steadfast companionship. When everyone else left Paul, Luke stayed. Teach me that loyalty. Give me that faithfulness.

Show me how my skills, training, and experience can serve your purposes. Luke's medical background equipped him to observe carefully and document precisely. You didn't waste his professional skills - you redeemed them. Use mine too. Whatever I know how to do, whatever I've learned, whatever I've experienced - take it and use it for your glory.
