Thursday Prayer: Two More Days

Father, two days left. Tomorrow and the next day. Then October's final day. Forty-eight hours until the month ends. I'm exhausted. Two more days feels impossible. But you give strength to the weary, increase power to the weak. I'm hoping in you. Renew my strength for two more days.
Help me finish strong. Not superhuman effort but refusing to quit. Still praying when prayer feels dry. Still reading Scripture when it seems routine. Still obeying when obedience brings no satisfaction. Perseverance isn't excited running but continued running despite fatigue.
Hosea said after two days you revive, on the third day you restore. Tomorrow is day thirty. Next day is day thirty-one. I don't know what you might do on the third day - November 1. But I'll position myself to receive it by being faithful these two days. Don't let me quit two days too early. Help me finish the race.
Your evening prayer will be waiting for you right here when you check back in.
