Wednesday Prayer: Three Days in the Tomb

Father, three days after today November begins. Jesus spent three days in the tomb - between crucifixion and resurrection, death and life, despair and hope. Those weren't wasted days but necessary passage. My final three days might feel like tomb time - between what I hoped October would be and what November might bring.
Help me trust that tomb time isn't wasted time. Lazarus was dead four days before you raised him. The delay wasn't neglect but setup for greater glory. Maybe October's delays serve similar purpose. Maybe what comes in the final days will be more significant than anything that could have come earlier.
Or maybe October's purpose wasn't breakthrough but formation. You measure faithfulness, not results. You want transformation, not just outcomes. Don't let me judge the month until it's complete. Three days remain. They could be waiting time before breakthrough or completion of October's actual purpose. Either way, I'll use them faithfully. Three days is enough to finish well.
Your evening prayer will be waiting for you right here when you check back in.
