Wednesday Prayer: Getting Back Up

Wednesday Prayer: Getting Back Up

Father, I've already failed this month - broken commitments, compromised convictions, stumbled over the same sins I swore I'd conquer. I feel like failure, disqualified by imperfection, too flawed to be useful. The enemy whispers that I should quit trying, that I'm not serious about faith, that my stumbling proves I'm not really yours.

But your heroes weren't perfect - they were persistent. Noah, Abraham, Moses, David, Peter - all flawed, all faithful. They failed but kept trusting, stumbled but kept walking, sinned but kept repenting. You didn't reject them for imperfection; you used them despite it.

I confess my failures. I repent of my sin. I return to you from my wandering. I'm not asking you to overlook my flaws - I'm asking you to work through them. Your power is made perfect in weakness. My failures don't disqualify me if I confess them. Help me get up one more time than I fall down. I'm trusting your grace, not my performance. Keep working in me.
