Lord, I confess the entitlement in my heart - the belief that my faithfulness should earn your favor, that my service should guarantee certain outcomes, that my obedience deserves preferential treatment. I've been keeping score, tallying my good works, expecting returns on my spiritual investments.

Forgive my entitled heart. Remind me that I deserve nothing but have been given everything. Every breath is grace, every blessing is unearned, every moment is mercy I don't deserve. Kill my entitlement and birth gratitude in its place. Help me serve from love rather than for reward, obey from relationship rather than for results, worship from joy rather than obligation. You owe me nothing; you've given me everything. That's more than enough.
