Father, I'm in the middle of Ordinary Time and I confess I'm restless. I want drama, breakthrough, spectacular moments that make me feel spiritually alive. But you're teaching me that real formation happens through ordinary faithfulness, not constant excitement. Help me embrace these ordinary September days as opportunities for growth.

Give me endurance to maintain practices even when nothing feels special - to pray when it seems routine, read Scripture when words feel flat, serve when nobody notices, trust when circumstances don't confirm I'm on the right path. I'm building something through ordinary choices that occasional spiritual highs can't create.

Don't let me despise this ordinary season or waste it wishing for something more exciting. You're working in mundane moments, forming me through steady faithfulness. The spectacular moments will test what I'm building now. Help me build well through ordinary obedience in Ordinary Time.
