Monday Prayer: Not Giving Up

Father, five days remain and I'm weary. The month didn't produce what I expected. Progress seems minimal. I'm ready to quit. But Peter fished all night catching nothing, then caught nets-breaking amounts when he tried once more despite exhaustion. The harvest came precisely when he was ready to give up.

Help me not let weariness make decisions. Give me strength to keep going for five more days. Not heroic effort, just ordinary faithfulness. Showing up. Doing the next right thing. Not quitting what I've started. What if harvest is scheduled for October 30? What if breakthrough comes October 31? I won't know unless I keep going.

I can't control when harvest comes. But I can control whether I'm still working when it arrives. Five more days. That's all I need. Don't let me quit five days too early and waste everything I've invested. Keep me faithful until the end. Harvest comes to those who don't give up.
