Sunday Prayer: Exhausted But Continuing
Father, I'm tired of persevering. I've been faithful in this difficulty for so long and nothing has changed. The circumstances remain hard. The relationship stays broken. The struggle continues. I keep showing up, keep praying, keep obeying - but I'm depleted. Perseverance feels pointless when I can't see any progress.
Help me remember that harvest comes to those who don't give up, not those who see immediate results. The farmer waits months between planting and reaping. The athlete trains for years before competing. The student studies long before graduating. Perseverance requires sustained effort without visible progress. That's normal, not failure.
Give me strength for one more day. Not strength to endure forever - just strength for today. Tomorrow I'll ask again. But today, help me keep going. Keep trusting. Keep believing you're faithful even when I can't see what you're doing. I'm tired, but I'm not quitting. Help me persevere when perseverance feels futile. The harvest is coming. Help me believe that when I can't see it.
