Sunday Prayer: Three Days of Purpose

Sunday Prayer: Three Days of Purpose

Father, three days remain. September is nearly over. October looms. The temptation is rushing through these last days eager for fresh start, treating them as transition time that doesn't really count. But they count. Every day you give matters because you're sovereign over all my time.

Jesus spent three days in the tomb - between catastrophe and redemption, death and life, ending and beginning. What looked like failure was necessary passage to resurrection. Maybe these three days are my waiting time, formation space where you're preparing me for what's coming.

Show me what these three days should be. Not cramming everything I failed to do, but identifying what truly matters now. Is it rest? Repentance? Gratitude? Intercession? Whatever would maximize these three days - give me wisdom to discern it and courage to pursue it. Make these last days count.
