Thursday Prayer: April's End

Father, April is ending - month of resurrection, month of remembering the most important week in history, month of learning what resurrection means for daily life. I started April in Holy Week's intensity and I'm ending in ordinary time's routine. Both matter. Both teach me about resurrection reality.

Thank you that resurrection doesn't depend on my April performance. Christ rose whether I had perfect month or terrible one. Thank you that the tomb is still empty twenty-five days after Easter. Thank you that death remains defeated even when I don't feel victorious. Thank you that resurrection power sustains me through ordinary days, not just dramatic moments.

As May begins tomorrow, help me carry forward what April taught - that Jesus is alive, death is defeated, resurrection is real, and your power is available every day. The dramatic events are past, but the truth they revealed continues. Jesus rose. That's enough for May and every month after. Your faithfulness continues. That's enough for tomorrow.
