Wednesday Prayer: Finishing Strong

Father, I'm twenty-one days into October - three-quarters through. I can't change the first three weeks. They're history. But I can determine what happens in the final ten days. Josiah couldn't fix his father's failures, but he could lead faithfully during his reign. I can't undo October's first twenty-one days, but I can use the remaining ten purposefully.

Show me the one thing that matters most for these final days. I don't have time to do everything I didn't do in the first three weeks. But I have enough time to finish one thing well. What is it? Repairing a relationship? Completing a task? Practicing a discipline? Addressing a sin? Whatever would make October feel complete despite earlier failures - show me that and help me pursue it relentlessly for ten days.

I started October with intentions. Most have failed by day 21. But the month isn't over. Give me strength to finish strong rather than fade badly. Ten days is enough to complete something meaningful. Help me make them count.
