Wednesday Prayer: Live Your Life Through Me
Jesus, you live in me by your Spirit. Not as distant God I'm trying to reach but as present Christ dwelling within me. The same Jesus who walked on water, healed the sick, and conquered death is in me now. This is staggering - I am your temple, your dwelling place, your home on earth.
Help me cooperate with your presence. I can't live the Christian life in my own strength - I was never meant to. You want to live your life through me as I yield to you. When I pray, you're praying through me. When I love, you're loving through me. When I serve, you're serving through me. I provide availability; you provide ability.
Teach me to access your resources for whatever I'm facing. Your peace for my anxiety. Your strength for my weakness. Your love for my relationships. Your wisdom for my decisions. I don't have to generate these from myself - they're already in you who dwells in me. Help me stop striving and start yielding. Christ in me, the hope of glory. Live your life through mine.
