Wednesday Prayer: Secure Identity

Father, I've been trying to prove my worth through achievement, earn love through performance, establish significance through accomplishment. I've built identity on what I do, what I own, what others think. These identities are exhausting and never satisfied. They demand constant maintenance and crumble under pressure.

But you say I'm chosen, royal, holy, treasured - not because I earned it but because you said so. My identity comes from your choice, not my achievement. My worth is established by your word, not my performance. I'm your special possession, treasured and valued. This identity is secure, fixed, unshakable.

Help me live from this security instead of striving for it. Let me stop trying to prove worth you've already declared, earn love you've already given, establish significance you've already granted. I'm chosen. I'm treasured. I'm yours. That's enough. Help me believe it and live like it.
