Elijah had just experienced spectacular victory on Mount Carmel - calling down fire from heaven, defeating 450 prophets of Baal, demonstrating God's power undeniably. Then Jezebel threatened his life and suddenly this mighty prophet collapsed: "Elijah was afraid and ran for his life... He

I give strength to the weary and increase the power of the weak. When you're exhausted and can't continue, I provide what you lack. When you're depleted and have nothing left, I renew your strength. You don't have to be strong on your own. My strength is available.

Father, I confess I judge your love by my circumstances, measuring your affection by my comfort level. When things go well, I feel loved. When trials come, I question whether you care. When prayers go unanswered, I wonder if you've withdrawn from me. I'm interpreting circumstances as evide

Paul cataloged threats to his security: "Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?" (Romans 8:35). These weren't hypothetical dangers. Paul experienced all of them - beaten, imprisoned, shipwrecked, hu

Nothing can separate you from My love - not death, not life, not angels, not demons, not fears about today or worries about tomorrow. Nothing in all creation can separate you from My love in Christ Jesus. You're held by love that won't let go. Ever.

Whom have I in heaven but You? And earth has nothing I desire besides You. My flesh and my heart may fail, but You are the strength of my heart and my portion forever. When everything else falls apart, You remain. You're not my backup plan - You're my primary treasure.

Father, I'm in pain and I don't understand why. I've prayed for relief and you've provided comfort instead. I've begged for circumstances to change and you've sustained me through them instead. Like Paul in Asia, I feel pressed beyond my ability to endure. I've despaired. I've questioned.
