May
Between his resurrection and ascension, Jesus gave his followers what we call the Great Commission. Matthew records it: "Then Jesus came to them and said, 'All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name

Though outwardly you're wasting away, inwardly you're being renewed day by day. Your light and momentary troubles are achieving eternal glory that far outweighs them all. What you see isn't all there is. I'm renewing you from the inside out, every single day.

Father, May begins with celebrations old and new - ancient spring festivals and modern labor movements, natural cycles and human struggles. Thank you that you created seasons, that winter gives way to spring, that what looks dead comes back to life. Your faithfulness shows in creation's rh

May 1st carries a double identity in modern culture. In much of the world, it's International Workers' Day, commemorating the 1886 Haymarket affair in Chicago when labor activists demanded an eight-hour workday. What began as a Chicago strike became a global movement, with May Day now mark

This is the day I have made; rejoice and be glad in it. April carried you through resurrection - now May carries you toward Pentecost. New month, same faithful God. I'm making today for you. Let's see what unfolds together.

April
April is ending. Easter season continues for another week (until Pentecost, May 24), but the dramatic events are past. Resurrection happened three weeks ago. Ascension is two weeks away. Pentecost comes four weeks from now. You're in the space between - after the climax, before the next ma

May I, the God of hope, fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Me, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Not just survive but overflow. Not barely make it but abundantly thrive. Hope isn't scarce; it flows from Me endlessly.
April
Jesus, you ascended to the Father forty days after resurrection, completing what incarnation began. You didn't abandon your people by leaving; you empowered them by sending the Spirit. Your physical absence enabled your universal presence. Your departure prepared your return. Help me unde
